修理完了からシートライアルへ
Story-91(Final) WEEK141-142 2026/4/6 – 4/17 Completion of the Repair Works and Sea Trial
2019年12月から開始したヨットの修理、コロナ禍の約２年の中断やパートタイムの仕事のオファーを受けながら、足掛け７年、遂に修理が完了した。期間も費用も予定より4倍ほど掛かったが、やっと「Yume」から「勇魚」として蘇った。最後の2週間はスービック から呼んだ運転手のジャンが細かい仕上げ作業を進めつつ、エンジンのギアボックス内のクラッチ板交換や太陽光発電のMPPTコントローラのアップグレードなどを行い、2026年4月15日に対岸17マイルのカモテス島に1泊の予定でシートライアルを行った。
The yacht repair that began in December 2019 was finally completed after roughly seven years, including about two years of interruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic and while taking on part-time job offers. Both the time and cost ended up being about four times the original plan, but it has finally been reborn from “Yume” as “Isana.”
During the final two weeks, John, a driver called in from Subic, worked on detailed finishing tasks, replaced the clutch plates in the engine gearbox, and upgraded the MPPT controller for the solar power system. On April 15, 2026, a sea trial was conducted with an overnight stay planned on Camotes Island, 17 miles across the strait.

I replaced the clutch plates in the engine gearbox and finished the final mechanical adjustments.
ソーラーシステム制御盤、80Aを100Aに替えてソーラーパネルからの発電量を調整した結果、２機のリチウムバッテリはほぼフルまでチャージできるようになった。
After replacing the solar system control panel from 80A to 100A and adjusting the power generation from the solar panels, the two lithium batteries can now be charged to almost full capacity.

さて、いよいよシートライアル。シップヤードから真東に17マイルのカモテス島サンディアゴビーチリゾート沖を目指す。
142週間、91話にわたる勇魚の修理のお話は一応完結です。これからは航海記にページを譲ることになります。

Now, at last, it’s time for the sea trial. We’re heading 17 miles due east from the shipyard, toward the waters off Santiago Beach Resort on Camotes Island.
After 142 weeks and 91 episodes, the topic of Isana’s repairs has finally come to a close for now. From here on, the pages will be handed over to the voyage log.
