ASA affiliate Yacht School

1991年6月から1年半、アメリカ、サンフランシスコ対岸のバークレーで過ごした。サンフランシスコ湾に面したバークレーマリーナのオリンピック・サークル・セーリング・クラブ（OCSC）では、1984年に発足したASA（American Sailing Association)の教育カリキュラムに沿ったヨットスクールのコースが提供されており、世界中でベアボートチャーターができるBareboat Charter (BBC)までのコースを受講した。
その後、海外勤務が続き2011年に国内勤務となってからは、日本で３つ登録されているASA公認ヨットスクールのうち、大阪でコースを提供しているスクールでインスタトラクター資格を取得した。
フィリピンではミンドロに１つだけ中国系のASA公認スクールがあり、勇魚の修理と計画中の長距離航海の後は、スービックにてASA公認のヨットスクールを開設しようかと計画中。
フィリピンの裕福層や日本人駐在員にヨットの面白さを伝えることができればと思う。

I had been in Berkeley, California, where the other side of San Francisco for 1 and half years from June 1991. There was the Olympic Circle Sailing Club which offered courses under curriculum of ASA (American Sailing Association)established in 1984. I took courses up to BBC (Bareboat Charter) which allowed to have boats with bareboat charter all over the world.
After that, overseas assignment continued till 2011. Then, I found a ASA affiliate school in Osaka, Japan so that I decided to get instructor certificates.
In Philippines, there is only one Chinese based ASA affiliate school in Mindoro, so now I am planning to start the ASA affiliate school in Subic with Isana after planned long distance sailing.
It may possible to contribute to teach a fun of sailing to rich Philippines and Japanese who are working in Philippines.

全世界で300を超えるASA公認スクールが設立されている。発祥の地アメリカを含む北米・太平洋で248、アジアでは中国を中心に78のスクールがある。日本には３つのスクールが登録されている。日本を除くアジア地区は、中国に本部を持つASA Asiaが統括している。フィリピンにはミンドロに１つのみ。

There are over 300 ASA affiliate schools all over the world. 248 schools in USA and Pacific Ocean area, 3 in Japan out of 78 Chinese based ASA Asian  controled schools. Only 1 in Philippines.

ヨットの操船を学ぶ基本コースBKB、BCC、ベアボートチャーター資格のBBCとナビゲーションを学ぶCONの4コースの開設を目指す。

4 coursed of basis courses of BKB, BCC, bareboat charter certification BBC and coastal navigation CON shall be opened as starter.
