仕上げ作業も佳境を迎え、各キャビンの収納部の扉の取り付けがほぼ完了した。ニス仕上げも慣れてきた。スターンヘッドの仕上げも進んだ。来週から2週間、作業は監督不在で１人の大工にお願いすることにした。いよいよアッパーキャビンの仕上げ開始。
Finishing works are well on going. Doors for many storages have been installed. Varnishing works are also done. A stern head finishing is also well progressed. A carpenter will continue finishing works at an upper cabin for next 2 weeks without my supervision.
メインキャビンやギャレーの収納部の木の扉、蝶番とドアストッパーを取り付けた。
Wooden storage doors in a main cabin and a galley have been installed with hinges and door stoppers.
ハニコム芯材に樹脂ラミネートしたギャレーやコンパニオンウェイの収納部ドアも蝶番とドアストッパーで固定した。
Honeycomb cored plastic laminated storage doors are also fixed with hinges and door stoppers.
チャートテーブル座席下部の収納部扉取り付け、狭い所の作業は結構骨が折れる。
Installation of doors below a chart table. Works at a narrow space is quite touch.
スターンヘッドとチャートテーブルスペースの天井板を押さえる、装飾を兼ねた木材のニス仕上げ。シーラー3層とトップコート１層仕上げ。
Wooden parts for ceiling panels at a stern head and a chart table space have coated with 3 layers sealer and a lay of top coat.
スターンヘッドもほぼほぼ完成に近づいた。トイレやシャワー配管と塗装を残すのみ。
A stern head is about to be completed. Plumbing and some painting works remain.
8月20日に大阪から出荷したバリクバヤンボックスが10月17日に到着した。8週間強掛かった。中身は、長距離航海に必要な、保存用レトルト日本食材やシャンプーなどの生活用品が中心。
A balikbayan box dispatched from Osaka on August 20 has delivered to the shipyard in Cebu on October 17 taking over 8 weeks. Living essentials are contained for long voyage.
