Story-70 WEEK114-115 2025/7/14-26 Cusion Mattresses and Other Finishing Works
メインキャビンとフォクスルのマットレスが仕上がってきた。セブ郊外の田舎町でも、とても良い仕事してくれる手先の器用な職人が居る。チャートテーブルスペースやメインキャビンのギャレー部の仕上げもかなり進んだ。アンカーチェーンに続いてライフラフトなどのアクセサリーの整備を進める時期にきた。
6週間の予定で作業を進めてきたが、いつもお願いする大工は他のヨット整備で忙しく、結局3.5週間しか来てもらえなかった。もっぱら塗装などの作業を一人で進める状況だったが、色々な細かいところの作業など、自身の作業効率は飛躍的に向上した感じ。次回は9月末から3週間、その後2週間空けて12月中旬まで。年内に全ての作業を終えて待望のセーリングに出たい。
Cushion mattresses have been completed. A high skilled Pilipino worker even in such a local site made quite good job. Good progress for a chart table area and galley at a main cabin has been found. It is the time to look into accessories like a life raft followed by an anchor chain.
6 weeks works for this time has been done. Next will be the end of September for 3 weeks and after 2 weeks no work, then come back to continue works till mid December. Hoping all works would be complete before new year and start sailing as soon as possible.

アッパーキャビンの両サイドのステップの制作を開始した。開閉式の大きな天板を備え、大型の工具箱や電動工作機械などが収納できる
Steps at both side of an upper cabin have started to make. A large tool box and power tools can be stored with big opening.
ライフラフトのメンテを試みた. 安全備品などは既に期限を過ぎていて全て取り替え。ラフト自体の整備も専門業者に依頼する方向.
A life raft maintenance has been tried. All safety equipment have expired. The maintenance works will be subcontract to specialist.
